Inner ring
The outer ring is public. An inner ring reveals the people behind each place — full names, direct links, specifics. Access is granted in person, or via a token shared over a trusted channel.
Later rings will graduate — friends and co-stewards. One pattern, many thresholds.
A second layer, orthogonal to Kinds
The six kinds describe a place's relationship to this family: ours, family's, friends', friend-membership, co-initiated, established. Scenarios describe something different: the lived culture of a place, regardless of which kind it is. A family homestead and an established retreat can both run on the same governance model, or on opposite ones. This page names ten of those cultures, the dimensions that separate them, and where they genuinely do not mix.
Not ranked, same as the six kinds. A mesh needs quiet family homes and loud collectives both. The point is not to rank them, it is to say plainly, before anyone travels or moves in, which combinations create friction and which do not.
The morphbox
A morphological box: every scenario below is one coherent combination of values across these nine axes. The quiz further down reads these same axes, so a scenario is never described one way and matched another.

Named plainly
These frictions are not judgments on either side of the pairing. A late-night, low-structure punk collective and a family raising school-age children are not a good match: not because either is wrong, but because loud, unscheduled nights and a child's need for routine and clear accountability pull against each other. Naming that in advance saves everyone a bad visit.

Structure, separate from culture
Five legal and structural forms a place can take. A form does not fix a culture: two land trusts can feel nothing alike. This is the tenure axis from the morphbox above, spelled out, with the scenarios that currently use each form.
How access actually works
CosBioSys does not run a reputation score. No points for attestations logged over time, no on-chain history to inspect before a stay. That is a deliberate choice, not an oversight: attestation-based reputation is a well-trodden pattern elsewhere, and it substitutes a protocol for a relationship. Here, trust travels the older way, through a named person who vouches, and through a trial stay that either confirms the fit or doesn't.
This is the same pattern as the two rings on the home page. The outer ring, the shape of the mesh, is public. The inner ring, who is actually where, opens through a token shared in person or over a trusted channel, not through a form or a score. The permeability axis in the morphbox (closed and vetted, open drop-in, trial stay then a vote) is that same mechanism, named per scenario.
